              Meet The Ingredients

L-Glutathione is the mother of all antioxidants (pun intended) and master detoxifier. It actually plays a role in shielding eggs from oxidative damage and supports all the reproductive cells in our body. The body calls on glutathione when it’s in need of a quick defense to combat oxidative stress in our cells. Not only does this antioxidant cleanse and nurture the cells that support egg quality, but it also works naturally with the body to help recycle other antioxidants. Cellular glutathione can be impacted by many factors, such as our diets, lifestyle, stress, age, and environment (like air pollution or heavy metals).*

Kaneka CoQ10 Ubiquinol® helps support your eggs’ ability to fight the natural aging process. It’s also known as the “cell revitalizer.” Why? Because it supports your cell’s energy production, which in turn helps them fight the natural aging process and protects against oxidative cell damage caused by free radicals (more info above).* Ubiquinol levels naturally decline with age.

Alpha-Lipoic Acid helps support healthy ovarian function. It’s also known as the “recharger” because of its ability to optimize your body’s utilization of other key antioxidants. Alpha-Lipoic Acid is naturally found in the mitochondria, or the powerhouse of our cells, and helps to regenerate glutathione. It has been shown in clinical studies to support fertility health.*

Collagen helps support a healthy uterine lining by providing the building blocks for protein synthesis. Collagen is a structural protein and found throughout our body. Its levels decline with age, which is why our skin can start to well... look a little bit saggy as time goes by. You may already be familiar with the benefits of collagen when it comes to your skin and nails, but those same benefits can also be applied to the deeper dermal skin layers of the uterine lining. What’s that uterine lining like? It’s extremely vascular, meaning blood flows through it. This means it needs the proper circulation of nutrients in and out to optimize function (letting the good stuff in and keeping the bad stuff out) - that’s where collagen comes in! The collagen in U.Bloom provides 8 essential amino acids and comes from pasture-raised, grass-fed cows.

Myo-Inositol combined with folate helps support ovarian function.* It is widely found in nature and foods such as fruits, beans, grains, and nuts. Myo-inositol has many functions including supporting glucose metabolism, which impacts ovarian function, which impacts fertility and reproductive health - talk about teamwork!

Folate as mentioned above, helps support ovarian function when paired with myo-inositol. It also helps support early fetal development, which is important when trying to conceive.* When formulating U.Bloom, we used the levels studied in clinical trials, and to complement your diet and the level of folate already in your prenatal vitamin. If you’re looking for a prenatal, we’ve got one right here.

Antioxidant Fruit Blend helps support healthy circulation* due to its antioxidant activity while providing plant nutrients called polyphenols. These are multi-tasking nutrients, which provide the antioxidant benefits found in fruits and vegetables.

              How To Use

Take 2 U.Bloom Egg Quality Support Capsules daily with food - any time of day, starting any time in your cycle! Mix one packet of U.Bloom Uterine Lining Support in 6-8oz of water or your favorite beverage (we’re unflavored). Stir well and enjoy!

Who? Women over the age of 18. When? This formula is for use during the preconception phase through conception (not for use once pregnant or during lactation).

P.S. U.Bloom is designed to complement (not replace) a prenatal multivitamin while trying to conceive. Looking for a prenatal? We’ve got one right here.

              Let’s Talk Eggs

Eggs go on quite the journey (to say the least) - from the time we’re born with all our egg cells, to the time when a select few develop, mature, and take a trip from the ovaries, through the fallopian tube, into the uterus, and everything in between.

So, what impacts egg quality, exactly? Most commonly, it’s something called oxidative stress - we’ll explain! In our bodies (and all living things, for that matter) there are two molecular materials that should ideally be balanced at any given time: (1) free radicals known as pro-oxidants and (2) antioxidants. Free radicals are reactive and unstable by nature (as the name suggests) but hanging out with antioxidants helps increase their stability. Now sometimes, that balance can be disrupted, and when it is - that’s where oxidative stress rises and comes into play.

So, what’s the big deal with oxidative stress? Over time, it can lead to certain complications, such as premature ovarian aging. And when it comes to our eggs, that’s something we’d like to avoid if possible. Because as eggs age, egg quality may decrease. But the good news is oxidation is all about balance and one way to help support that natural balance is to replenish and maintain the antioxidant levels to support the internal defense system our bodies need.

              Let’s Talk Uterine Lining

The endometrium (aka uterine lining) plays an essential role in implantation and conception. We like to think of it as “the wallpaper of the uterus” and in short: it’s amazing. And essentially a shapeshifter. Its job (among other things) is to ebb and flow with your cycle. This includes everything from transforming into the placenta during pregnancy to completely shedding during a period. Pretty cool!

Let’s talk conception! Around the time of ovulation, the endometrium will ideally thicken in preparation of the fertile window. Why does it do this? Because if an embryo is a football and your ovaries are the quarterback, that means your endometrium is the wide receiver. Put another way: Remember playing that egg toss game as a kid? When that delicate egg left your hands, you were probably hoping your friend was prepared on the other side with a soft, safe place for it to land. That soft, safe place is the uterine lining!

Supporting the uterine lining helps create an optimal environment for embryo implantation and the good news is there are nutrients that can help provide that support! This includes proteins (from lean meats and beans) and polyphenols (from fruits and vegetables). To make it easier for you though, we isolated some of these key nutrients into one formula to complement what you’re already doing in your diet to help ensure you’re getting a bit more of these key nutrients and creating an optimal home for your future baby.*
