How To Use Dual Prenatal Immunity (And What It Does)
Many probiotics are studied only in the general population. Not ours. This specially formulated probiotic (Lactobacillus Rhamnosus HN001) has been clinically studied and tracked for over a decade, beginning with pregnant women, through birth, nursing, and up to a child’s 11th birthday. During that time, it was shown to have lasting immunity effects on baby throughout childhood. UpSpring Prenatal Dual Immunity uses the same formula that has been tested in long-term double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trials with pregnant mamas and shown to have clinically proven benefits.*
During pregnancy, take one capsule daily with water in addition to your prenatal vitamin. You can continue using it after baby's born!
Each bundle includes a 2-month supply of UpSpring Prenatal Complete Multivitamins and Dual Prenatal Immunity.
It’s a good idea to start taking Prenatal Complete as soon as you learn you're pregnant. In fact, if you are planning to become pregnant in the next few months, it's not too soon to start.
You can begin taking it at any point during your pregnancy, but we recommend starting as early as possible to help support your natural immune defenses.*
Unlike many other probiotics, the active ingredient in UpSpring Dual Prenatal Immunity has been studied in a long-term double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial with pregnant mamas and shown to have positive (and lasting) benefits for baby.*
UpSpring Dual Prenatal Immunity is not a prenatal vitamin. It is an immunity probiotic with dual benefits for both mom and baby, designed to be taken during pregnancy alongside (not instead of) a prenatal vitamin.
Folate or vitamin B9 is the broader term that includes natural forms found in dark leafy greens, as well as the synthetic form often found in dietary supplements. Folic acid requires conversion to its active form before it can be used by the body. The methylfolate found in UpSpring Prenatal Complete is already in its active form. Women who are pregnant (or planning to become pregnant) should get 600 to 800 mcg of folate or folic acid per day from diet and supplementation.
